Join us for a pre-Halloween Open Play session on the splendid Frequency Wine Company patio. Bring your 2026 NMJL Card and your enthusiasm for Mahjong—or your competitive spirit (we aim to nurture all approaches to the game)—we’ll take care of the rest. If you don’t have a 2026 NMJL Card, you may purchase one at the event and a limited number will be available for loan.
Space is limited and advance registration is required. All gameplay materials will be provided for the duration of the event.

Frequency Wine Company's wines and cheese boards will be available for purchase throughout the event.
PLEASE NOTE: This Open Play event is designed and recommended for advanced beginners and experienced players who already have a foundational understanding of American Mahjong and National Mah Jongg League card play. Players will be seated with fellow attendees according to registration preferences whenever possible. Every effort is made to seat complete tables. However, there remains a possibility that registrants will be playing with fewer than four players at their assigned table. If you are coming with a complete table group, please coordinate table requests to reflect this and include the names of all players in your table group. It is recommended that one person from each table group secures all four seats at the same time, to ensure availability.
